We have many scars to prove our Venture Factory Model. We are crazy about sharing our experience with founders eager to learn to build their ventures slightly faster and in a more reliable way that is truly scalable. Tal joined Giza Venture Capital in 2005 and is responsible for finance, accounting, administration and tax issues, and contributing his financial expertise to the different funds investment activity.

Zeev Holtzman

Founding Partner

Zeev is General Partner and Co-founder of Swanlaab

Zeev co-founded the Giza Group in 1985 and Giza Venture Capital in 1992. He was also a representative of Credit Suisse First Boston and Alex Brown in Israel; held top positions in the largest Israeli financial institutions and in Technion.

Juan Orbea

Analyst

Juan is an Analyst at Swanlaab Venture Factory.

While he obtained his Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Business Administration (E-3) from ICADE, Juan worked as an Analyst at multiple alternative asset managers in Spain and Israel, the last two of them being VC firms.

As a side project, he is a Content Curator on Sublime Internet Inc. (formerly known as Startupy), a human-curated search engine for meaningful intellectual insights. Juan spun-off a Substack (Infopunk) from his contributions to Startupy.

General Partner

Angel is General Partner and part of the Investment Committee of the Agri-Food Tech Fund.

Angel has +12-year experience investing in scientific technology-based innovation across 2 funds, with €50m AUM. He was Managing Partner at CRB Inverbio.

Dr. Xana Belastegui

Partner

Xana is Partner and Chief Investment Officer of the Agri-Food Tech Fund.

Xana has+ 15-year experience in the public and private biotech and Agri-Food sector. She has a solid R&D, soft financing, IP, regulatory, product development, business and operations expertise.

Dr. Nora Alonso

Partner

Nora is Partner and Chief Investment Officer of the Agri-Food Tech Fund.

Nora has +15-year experience in the biotech and Agri-Food sector. She has been CEO & Co-founder of an Agri Tech company during different stages of growth. Vast experience in strategic, funding and day-to-day operations with cross-functional teams.
